VMS Steel Inc. provides experienced design, detailing, mechanical assembly, and fabrication services for the lumber, pulp and mining industries. Our services include but are not limited to:

• Detailing, and fabrication of structural steel
• Steel fabrication, welding, machining and assembly of equipment and components.
• Equipment installation, erection and commissioning
• Complete engineering, design and detail drawings for mechanical and structural projects
• Maintenance and shutdown work

VMS Steel Inc. is a CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) certified shop.

VMS Steel Inc. has the experienced personnel necessary to undertake your projects from conceptual ideas, through design, fabrication and installation, offering turnkey solutions for your projects. We focus on safety and completing your projects on time and within budget. VMS Steel Inc. is a subsidiary of Venture Mechanical Systems Ltd. Located in Castlegar. BC Venture Mechanical has been in operation for 11 years and has a good standing in the area as a quality mechanical contractor

Shop Facilities

Our facilities include a newly established fabrication shop with over 10,000 square feet of space, serviced with a new 5 Tonne overhead crane, several swing jib cranes, mobile equipment, plasma table, brake, shear, laser cut-off saw and fully outfitted iron worker. In our immediate yard we have access to industrial and blasting and painting facilities and equipment.
